Eight Week

This week I got the chance to teach. Teaching 90 minutes is very and therefore Professor Gleason gave me the opportunity to teach the last 20 minutes of the class. I have prepared a handout with the Turkish and German alphabet and it was very easy to talk about this in front of the class. We talked about how many speech sounds has German and Turkish and I focused on the different letters. Okay, this is not really “teaching” but it helped me to feel comfortable to speak in class and just tell them what I know. The students listened to me and were interested. It was a nice feeling to know “I can do it”.
